Eddie Melhuish

Graduate Consultant

Eddie joined AMION in September 2023 as a Graduate Consultant within the Economics team. He joined AMION having graduated with a First-Class Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Politics from the University of Exeter.

Across his time at university, Eddie developed a strong interest in the role that public policy plays in shaping both microeconomic and macroeconomic outcomes. Eddie’s dissertation focused on the efficacy of the UK’s R&D tax incentive system, identifying ways in which the UK could better fulfil its ambition of placing R&D and innovation at the centre of economic growth.

Eddie is gaining knowledge of the latest guidance documents which lie at the heart of AMION’s work including HM Treasury’s Green Book, the Additionality Guide, and DLUHC’s Appraisal Guide. Eddie provides important Business Case support within AMION’s Economics team.
