Prof. Peter Williams

Professor Peter Williams is a leading housing policy and finance expert with extensive experience across academia, research and the housing sector. His research focuses on housing markets and policy, home ownership, housing finance and housing history. He co-edits the annual UK Housing Review and has co-authored numerous housing reports and articles with Professor Christine Whitehead.

Peter is Chair of First Affordable, a Non-Executive Director of Vida Home Loans and the Building Societies Trust, and an adviser to the Shared Ownership Council. His recent work has examined first-time buyers, home ownership trends and housing policy.
