Celebrating our iED Awards 2026 nominations

AMION is delighted to be celebrating two nominations at the Institute of Economic Development (iED) Awards 2026, recognising both the achievements of our team and the positive impact of projects we have supported.

The awards celebrate excellence, innovation and achievement across the economic development profession. This year, we are pleased to see AMION’s Megan Smith shortlisted alongside Liverpool Philharmonic’s In Harmony programme, which we recently supported.

Megan Smith shortlisted for Rising Star of the Year

We are delighted that Megan has been shortlisted for the prestigious Rising Star of the Year Award 2026.

Megan joined AMION through our graduate programme and has quickly become a highly valued member of the team. Her shortlisting reflects not only the quality of her work, but also the enthusiasm, curiosity, positive energy and good humour she brings to every project and the wider team.

We are immensely proud of Megan and thrilled to see her contribution recognised nationally. Her nomination is a fantastic achievement and a reflection of the talent and commitment she brings to AMION.

Liverpool Philharmonic’s In Harmony shortlisted for Social Value Initiative of the Year

We are equally pleased that Liverpool Philharmonic’s In Harmony programme has been shortlisted for Social Value Initiative of the Year.

In Harmony uses music to make a positive difference to the lives of children and young people, creating opportunities for participation, learning and personal development.

AMION recently undertook an assessment of the programme’s impact and was pleased to support its award submission. The nomination is a welcome recognition of the programme’s contribution and the dedication of everyone involved in its delivery.

We extend our congratulations to the entire In Harmony team on this well-deserved recognition.

Looking ahead to the awards

These nominations reflect two important aspects of AMION’s work: the talented people who make up our team and our commitment to helping organisations understand and demonstrate the economic and social value of their activities.

We congratulate Megan and everyone involved with In Harmony on their achievements and look forward to celebrating with them at the iED Awards in November 2026.

Your next project.
