Maria Salcedo Maria Salcedo
Maria is a senior consultant in the AMION Social Inclusion and Employment team. She has a degree in economics with psychology and before joining AMION in September 2004, Maria had gained over 10 years' experience in the public sector. During her career Maria has developed considerable experience in the field of local area regeneration and economic development and has the ability to work both at a strategic and project development level.
Tim-Sullivan

Tim Sullivan
Tim is a qualified economist, with a Masters degree in Applied Environmental Economics. Tim is a consultant with the AMION economics team, focusing in particular on economic appraisals and evaluations, and impact assessment work.  Prior to joining AMION in June 2005, Tim gained experience in other consultancy environments, undertaking a variety of economic development projects, including economic appraisals, supply chain surveys, business planning, sector surveys, feasibility studies and funding applications. Tim is currently undertaking a further MSc qualification in Local and Regional Economic Development.

Steve Thomas

Steve Thomas

Steve is a consultant within AMION's Economics team, specialising in economic appraisal, evaluation and impact assessment.  He has significant experience in both the public and private sectors, including economic-related roles within Central Government and the Investment Management sector. He has worked on a wide range of economic development assignments and holds a Master's degree in Local and Regional Economic Development, for which he was awarded a Distinction.

Pete-Alford Peter Alford
Pete is a consultant and joined AMION in 2006. He has a postgraduate masters degree in Civic Design, an RTPI accredited planning degree for which he was awarded a distinction and the RTPI award.  He also has a masters in Commercial Property Development, an RICS accredited degree for which he was again awarded a distinction.  This background underpins a primary focus on property-related issues, though his experience with AMION has been wide-ranging and has encompassed economic impact assessment, appraisal and evaluation, feasibility assessment and funding applications.

Supporting personnel

Katie Booth Katie Booth
Katie is the Office Manager at AMION with over 37 years' experience of managing an office.  As well as being responsible for the day-to-day running of the office, she also provides support to the AMION team and is the first point of contact for all our clients.
Caroline-Russell Caroline Russell
Caroline has extensive experience of system and process development within a major UK Insurer, having developed and audited their commercial insurance underwriting procedures and systems.  She was responsible for a national programme of quality assurance reviews.  More recently, she has been employed by a college as an IT trainer, providing support to businesses and individuals. Caroline has provided research, surveys and spreadsheet based data analyses. She also provides HR support within AMION.
Glynis Johnston Glynis  Johnston
Glynis is a practical educationalist with knowledge of teaching standards in both the state and private sectors. She was awarded a Masters Degree in Education from Liverpool University in 1993 and as part of her studies, completed research into racial discrimination in schools in Boston, USA in the 1960s.  She has been a JP in Merseyside since 1995 and has knowledge of all aspects of adult crime including abuse of alcohol and drugs, debt and physical violence.  Glynis provides financial control and accounting support within AMION.
