Tim Johnston appointed to Board of new North West JESSICA Fund

Tim Johnston has been appointed as one of three Expert Independent Members to the Board of the North West Urban Investment Holding Fund under the JESSICA Programme, along with two core members from NWDA and two regional partners.
Its role is to oversee the Investment Strategy of the Holding Fund. JESSICA (Joint European Support for Sustainable Investment in City Areas) is an innovative way of investing existing ERDF alongside NWDA and other public and private resources plus lending from the European Investment Bank (EIB).
As Managing Authority of the European Regional Development Funds (ERDF) for its region, the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA) is establishing a JESSICA Holding Fund to be known as the North West Urban Investment Fund to deliver regeneration and economic development in eligible areas.
