AMION Consulting was set up in 2000 by two former senior consultants from KPMG – Tim Johnston and Graham Russell. The firm was established in Liverpool, but has recently opened an office in London. Since it began it has worked across the Country on a range of economic, policy and strategy, social, physical development, sectoral, finance and business, and implementation assignments. In 2014, the firm established a new Visitor & Leisure Team, which provides specialist advice on visitor attractions, culture, heritage, museums, arts, leisure, entertainment and tourism.

The Visitor and Leisure Team is led by Chris Melia and Greg Hunt, formerly from Locum/Colliers International, where they led almost all of the firm’s work involving leisure and heritage attractions and destination strategies. Before consulting, Chris and Greg both had operational and management experience in museums, heritage and visitor attractions.
