AMION Consulting is a wholly independent consultancy established in 2000 by two senior consultants formerly of KPMG - Tim Johnston and Graham Russell - who, between them, have over 50 years' experience in advising on all aspects of economic development and regeneration in the UK. Based in Liverpool, it now has a staff of 20 people, including associates placed in other strategic locations, which together provide a basis for serving clients in all areas of the country.
We specialise in advising and helping government, agencies and partnerships, the private sector and the third sector to improve people's quality of life and economic well-being. We are proud of our wide client portfolio, which includes Government Departments, the Homes and Communities Agency, local authorities, regeneration partnerships and other development agencies, community and voluntary sector organisations, as well as private sector developers and other interests.

The practice strives for practical solutions in a manner that works collaboratively with clients, and recognises the importance of excellent service which is strongly aligned with the culture of service to the community which is shared by our clients. This is delivered through the high standards of technical, professional and personal skills collectively held by our people and stemming from their wide range of backgrounds in economics, finance, planning, geography, and social sciences.
